The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will undertake a two-day visit to Tripura (Agartala, Palatana and Suryamaninagar) from June 20 to 21, 2013.
On June 20, 2013, the President will attend the 10th Convocation of Tripura Central University at Suryamaninagar. On the same day, he will attend the Civic Reception by Agartala Municipal Council at Agartala.
On June 21, 2013, the President will inaugurate the first unit of 726 MW gas-based power plant set up by ONGC-Tripura Power Company (OTPC) Limited at Palatana in Gomati district of Tripura. On the same day he will also attend the 5th Convocation of National Institute of Technology, Agartala.
